Preceding the Society for Neuroscience 2008 Annual Meeting, the Internationale Stichting Alzheimer Onderzoek (ISAO) together with the American Health Assistance Foundation (AHAF) will organize a workshop  to provide Ph.D. students from all over the world in the discipline of experimental and clinical Alzheimer's disease research with an up-to-date overview of the current knowledge in the field.

AHAF has just awarded 54 grants totaling $7.9 million for 2008.  Through generous donor contributions, we are funding innovative research from around the world seeking cures for Alzheimer’s disease, age-related macular degeneration and glaucoma.
